Biofuels Digest Index falls to 69.61 as ethanol equities slump

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, fell 0.93 percent to 69.61 as ethanol equities slumped. For the day, KiOR (KIOR) lost 5.10 percent to $1.49, while Solazyme (SZYM) dropped 3.93 percent to $9.54. Among other equities, Aemetis (AMTX) surged 16.67 percent to $0.28. Overall, declines led advances 4 to 1 for the day.
