Biofuels Digest Index falls to 68.06 on an advanced biofuels slide

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, fell 0.38 percent to 68.06 on advanced biofuels profit-taking. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) gave back 13.49 percent to $3.40 after yesterday’s spectacular rally, while Biox (BX.T) retreated 4.55 percent to $0.84. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) surrendered 3.19 percent to $10.63. Overall, declines led advances by a 3 to 2 ratio for the day.
