Biofuels Digest Index falls to 65.23 as chemicals retreat

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, fell 0.72 percent to 65.23 as chemicals retreated. For the day, Biox (BX.T) shed 14.29 percent to $0.30, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) dropped 5.52 percent to $4.28. Among other equities, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) sank 4.00 percent to $10.81. Overall, declines led advances 9 to 7 for the day.
