Biofuels Digest Index falls to 63.24 as large caps swoon

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, fell 1.56 percent to 63.24 as large caps swooned. For the day, Eni (E) dropped 5.23 percent to $33.50, while Shell (RDS) shed 1.85 percent to $55.99. Among other equities, BP lost 3.34 percent to $39.91. Overall, declines led advances by a 7 to 3 ratio for the day.
