Biofuels Digest Index edges up to 80.90 as advanced biofuels surge

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, edged up 0.19 percent to 80.90 as advanced biofuels surged. For the day, KiOR (KIOR) soared 18.86 percent to $45, while BioAmber (BIOA) lost 3.36 percent to $9.77. Among other equities, Codexis (CDXS) recovered 3.45 percent to $1.50. Overall, advances led declines 6 to 5 for the day.
