Biofuels Digest Index edges up to 70.25 as ethanol equities recover

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, gained 0.25 percent to 70.25 as ethanol equities recovered. For the day, Biox (BX.T) jumpd 8.70 percent to $0.50, while Biofuel Energy (BIOF) regained 4.48 percent to $2.10. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) surged 7.06 percent to $4.40. Overall, declines and advances were even for the day.
