Biofuels Digest Index edges down to 67.73 as chemicals decline

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, edged down 0.44 percent to 67.73 as chemicals declined. For the day, Amyris (AMRS) gained 3.47 percent to $2.09, while Metabolix (MBLX) plunged 13.09 percent to $3.32. Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) settled back 6.03 percent to $3.87. Overall, declines led advances by a 3 to 2 ratio for the day.
