Biofuels Digest Index drops to 81.14 as large caps slide

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 1.25 percent to 81.14 as large caps slid. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) plunged 12.49 percent to $8.90, while Abengoa (ABGB) fell 5.69 percent to $26.86. Among other equities, OriginOil (OOIL) jumped 6.77 percent to $0.205. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
