Biofuels Digest Index drops to 80.54 as ethanol equities tank

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dumped 1.30 percent to 80.54 as ethanol equities tanked. For the day, KiOR (KIOR) plunged 11.39 percent to $0.14, while Aemetis (AMTX) shed 6.08 percent to $9.79. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) dropped 7.39 percent to $21.31. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
