Biofuels Digest Index drops to 78.66 as advanced biofuels get slammed

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dumped 2.58 percent to 78.66 as advanced biofuels were slammed. For the day, KiOR (KIOR) fell 6.81 percent to $0.53, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) careened to $14.63, down 6.46 percent. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) plunged 8.36 percent to $3.29. Overall, declines led advances 13 to 3 for the day.
