Biofuels Digest Index drops to 78.04 as ethanol equities fall

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 1.19 percent to 78.04 as ethanol equities fell. For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) plunged 8.59 percent to $12.56, while Gevo (GEVO) rebounded 5.71 percent to $1.11. Among other equities, Codexis (CDXS) stumbled 4.71 percent to $1.62. Overall, declines led advances 3 to 2 for the day.
