Biofuels Digest Index drops to 74.44 as advanced biofuels tumble

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 1.63 percent to 74.44 as advanced biofuels tumbled. For the day, KiOR (KIOR) fell 6.52 percent to $0.58, while Solazyme (SZYM) plunged 8.49 percent to $9.49 on investor nervousness over delays at the Moema plant. Among other equities, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) swooned 7.56 percent to $10.40. Overall, declines led advances 4 to 3 for the day.
