Biofuels Digest Index drops to 73.29 as large caps fall

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 0.54 percent to 73.29 as large caps fell. For the day, Ceres (CERE) retreated 11.74 percent to $3.76 after a big rally in the mid-week, while Codexis (CDXS) soared 25.35 percent to $2.72. Among other equities, The Andersons (ANDE) fell 2,42 percent to $52.00. Overall, declines led advances 9 to 5 for the day.
