Biofuels Digest Index drops to 73.09 as advanced biofuels dip

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 0.54 percent to 73.09 as advanced biofuels dipped. For the day, Biox (BX.T) surged 8.47 percent to $0.64, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) settled back 7.14 percent to $4.29. Among other equities, Syntroleum (SYNM) shed 3.33 percent to $6.96. Overall, declines led advances 3 to 2 for the day.
