Biofuels Digest Index drops to 72.85 as advanced biofuels slump

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 0.74 percent to 72.85 as advanced biofuels slumped. For the day, Ceres (CERE) shed 6.69 percent to $3.07, while Solazyme (SZYM) dumped 4.69 percent to $11.18. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) fell 3.06 percent to $2.85. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
