Biofuels Digest Index drops to 72.26 on ethanol weakness

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 1.08 percent to 72.26 as ethanol reversed. For the day, BioAmber (BIOA) rebounded 2.45 percent to $10.02, while Biofuel Energy (BIOF) slumped 4.17 percent to $5.50. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) settled back 4.22 percent to $11.80. Overall, declines led advances 5 to 1 for the day.
