Biofuels Digest Index drops to 71.51 as advanced biofuels struggle

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 2.08 percent to 71.51 as advanced biofuels struggled. For the day, Syntroleum (SYNM) plummeted 10.90 percent to $64.36, while Biox (BX.T) plunged 21.13 percent to $0.56. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) shed 10.31 percent to $3.74. Overall, declines led advances 11 to 4 for the day.
