Biofuels Digest Index drops to 67.37 as ethanol equities tumble

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 1.30 percent to 67.37 as ethanol equities tumbled. For the day, Metabolix (MBLX) shed 5.93 percent to $1.27, while BioAmber (BIOA) recovered 2.35 percent to $6.98. Among other equities, Syntroleum (SYNM) fell 5.83 percent to $4.20. Overall, declines led advances 5 to 1 for the day.
