Biofuels Digest Index drops to 66.25 as ethanol equities sag

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 1.13 percent to 66.25 as ethanol equities sagged. For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) dumped 5.26 percent to $3.53, while Algae.Tec (AEB.AX) lost 4.55 percent to $0.21. Among other equities, Ceres (CERE) shed 5.67 percent to $1.33. Overall, declines led advances 6 to 1 for the day.
