Biofuels Digest Index downshifts to 62.04 as advanced biofuels plunge

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, downshifted 1.52 percent to 62.04 as advanced biofuels plunged. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) plummeted 11.56 percent to $1.99, while Aemetis (AMTX) slid 8.84 percent to $3.30. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) dumped 7.87 percent to $2.77. Overall, declines led advances by a 4 to 1 ratio for the day.
