Biofuels Digest Index dips to 73.39 despite an ethanol equities advance

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dipped 0.23 percent to 73.39 despite an ethanol equities advance. For the day, Amyris (AMRS) dropped 5.15 percent to $3.50, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) advanced 5.36 percent to $9.05. Among other equities, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) added 4.40 percent to $1.90. Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
