Biofuels Digest Index climbs to 78.10 as ethanol equities rally

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, climbed 0.68 percent to 78.10 as ethanol equities rallied. For the day, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) soared 27.39 percent to $7.72, while Gevo (GEVO) rebounded 12.45 percent to $0.93. Among other equities, Ceres (CERE) slumped 10/15 percent to $0.61. Overall, advances led declines 7 to 4 for the day.
