Biofuels Digest Index bounces up to 71.18 as ethanol sizzles

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, bounced up 2.23 percent to 71.18 as ethanol sizzled. For the day, KiOR (KIOR) lost 8.72 percent to $1.36, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) rocked up to $6.38. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) surged 8.55 percent to $4.95. Overall, advances led declines 4 to 1 for the day.
