The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, gained 0.34 percent to 65.84 as advanced biofuels rallied. For the day,Solazyme (SZYM) soared 15.27 percent to $3.17, while BioAmber (BIOA) dropped 7.70 percent to $8.51. Among other equities, Aemetyis (AMTX) fell 7.91 percent to $4.86. Overall, declines led advances by a 8 to 7 ratio for the day.
