Biofuels Digest Index advances to 80.63 as ethanol equities recover

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, advanced 0.34 percent to 80.63 as ethanol equities recovered. For the day, Biox (BX.T) plummeted 7.04 percent to $0.66, while Metabolix (MBLX) rebounded 7.41 percent to $0.87. Among other equities, Codexis (CDXS) plunged 8.18 percent to $1.46. Overall, advances led declines 9 to 7 for the day.
