Biofuels Digest Index advances to 68.06 as chems recover

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, advanced 0.41 percent to 68.06 as chems recovered. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) soared 19.35 percent to $0.37, while Renewable Energy Group (REGI) jumped 4.73 percent to $15.29. Among other equities, Syntroleum (SYNM) gained 5.02 percent to $5.65. Overall, declines led advances 5 to 3 for the day.
