Aveva makes first sustainable aviation fuel purchase
In the UK, Aveva has taken an important step in fulfilling its commitment as part of the World Economic Forum’s the First Movers’ Coalition, with a landmark purchase of sustainable aviation fuel certificates.
As a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) First Movers Coalition (FMC) Aviation group, Aveva set a target to replace at least 5% of conventional jet fuel demand with SAF.
The company purchased SAF certificates from British Airways for use at London Heathrow Airport.
