Aventine delays Aurora West ethanol opening until August, citing market conditions

In Illinois, Aventine Renewables has delayed the opening of its 113 million gallon per year Aurora West ethanol plant from May until August because rainy weather has interfered with construction. Despite the delay, commissioning will be in time for the start of the new corn harvest.
