Argentina files official complaint against EU at WTO over biodiesel

In Switzerland, Argentina has filed an official complaint against the European Union at the World Trade Organization, claiming that losses to its biodiesel industry as a result of the EU’s anti-dumping tariffs will reach at least $1 billion this year. The tariffs against Argentine biodiesel are on average 24.6%. The WTO now has 60 days to broker a solution between the two sides or it will have to open a dispute panel.
