API to sue EPA if it doesn’t set 2014 blending mandate by Nov. 30

In Washington, API says it will sue the EPA if it doesn’t finalize the 2014 blending requirements before Nov. 30. The 2013 blending requirements weren’t finalized until August this year. In a letter to the EPA’s administrator, API says that the late release of blending mandates has real negative effects on the industry.
