ANP auction sees nearly 1.2 billion liters of biodiesel sold

In Brazil, Renewables Now reports the latest ANP biodiesel auction saw nearly 1.2 billion liters of fuel sold to be blended between September 1 and October 31. The average price for the biodiesel was 94 cents per liter, bringing in around US$1 billion in revenue. More than 98% of the fuel sold at auction qualified for the social seal program that proves feedstock came from small-scale farmers. A total of 1.19 billion liters of biodiesel was offered by 42 producers.
