ADM win bidding war for Poland's Elstar Oils, over Bunge

In Poland, ADM has beaten out Bunge in the bidding war for control of biodiesel producer Elstar Oils with ADM buying 95% of the company’s shares and will have the option to buy the remaining 5% in November. ADM was forced to boost its offer in September after Bunge offered a higher bid, which still stands but won’t likely be exercised since ADM bought up the majority shares.
