Indonesian biodiesel producers contract to supply 1.53 billion liters

In Indonesia, 15 biodiesel producers have signed agreements to supply 1.53 billion liters of biodiesel to Pertamina and PT AKR Corporindo for the mandatory 20% blending during the May to October period. Only 11 producers supplied during the same period last year when the blend was 15%. Producers have an installed production capacity of 9 billion liters annually. Recently the Indonesian Oil Palm Estate Fund announced it invested $512,530 to help 155 smallholder farmers replant palm.
