Nord Gas Solutions to develop 35MT/day biogas liquefaction plant in Poland
In Norway, Nord Gas Solutions has secured a contract for a 35-ton-per-day biogas liquefaction plant in Poland, marking a significant milestone in the country’s developing biomethane sector. The project is expected to become Poland’s first bioLNG production plant and represents an important step in the development of renewable gas infrastructure in the region.
The facility will convert biogas into bioLNG using Nord Gas Solutions’ Puregas CA75 LBG and Puregas MR35 technologies. Developed as a brownfield conversion project, the plant will utilize existing biogas production infrastructure to enable renewable fuel production.
With project execution commencing immediately, the development demonstrates how existing biogas assets can be upgraded to support the production of renewable fuels. The plant will process manure-based biogas into low-carbon-intensity bioLNG, contributing to reduced emissions in the transport sector while creating additional value from agricultural residues.
