Conab says grain production in Brazil could reach 366.6 million tons in the 2026/27 cycle
In Brazil, Globo Rural reported that the National Supply Company (Conab) announced its preliminary estimate for the 2026/27 cycle, which is just beginning to be sown now.
The local authority estimates that the harvested volume could reach 366.6 million tons (a 1.3% increase compared to the 2025/26 cycle).
The estimate reflects an increase in the planted area, projected at 85.3 million hectares. This increase partially offsets the slight expected drop in average productivity, which should be 4,200 kilograms per hectare.
