Estonia to invest $2.32 in public biomethane entry point

August 18, 2026 |

In Estonia, Pollumajandus reports the Environmental Investment Centre will invest €2 million in the establishment of a public biomethane entry point in Ebavere, Lääne-Viru County. The 31.5 MW capacity point allows the biomethane produced in the region to be directed directly to the Estonian gas transmission network and to reduce dependence on the restrictions of the local gas network. As a public investment, all players must have access to the entry point for the first five years even though it is being set up by Bioforce.
