Duc Giang Chemicals to sell Vietnam ethanol plant
In Vietnam, the Investor reports Duc Giang Chemicals Group plans to sell its 50,000-metric-ton-per-year ethanol plant in Lam Dong province, just two years after acquiring and reviving the facility. The company said the business has made only a limited contribution to revenue and authorized management to seek buyers and complete the sale in 2026. Duc Giang purchased the long-idled plant for about VND253.25 billion ($9.6 million) in 2024, investing in repairs and upgrades after years of operational, financial, and environmental problems under its previous owner.
