Brazil’s soybean production to reach record level this season
In Brazil, CPG reported that Brazil’s soybean production broke records in the 2025/26 harvest. According to data from Conab, Brazil’s soybean production is expected to record 180.6 million tons in the 2025/26 harvest, a volume 5.3% higher than the previous harvest.
The report noted that CNN Brasil said that Brazil’s grain production in the 2025/26 harvest, estimated at 360.1 million tons, is the largest ever recorded, with an increase of 7.8 million tons over the previous cycle.
According to CNN Brasil, the growth of Brazil’s grain harvest in 2025/26 is mainly supported by the expansion of the cultivated area, estimated at 83.5 million hectares.
