G2 Ocean launches Emission Reduction Certificates
In Norway, G2 Ocean launched Emission Reduction Certificates — a new service that enables cargo owners and transport buyers to address Scope 3 transport emissions through verified emission reductions generated from the use of biofuel in our operations. The service is available to any company with transport-related Scope 3 emissions and does not require cargo to be carried on specific low-emission G2 Ocean voyages. Revenue from certificate sales will be reinvested in new biofuel voyages, helping support further emission reductions in maritime transport.
