In Iowa, the Iowa Soybean Research Center (ISRC) at Iowa State University welcomed TerraMax as its newest industry partner. A representative from the company will serve on the ISRC’s industry advisory council, which provides guidance on research needs and funding priorities for the center.

As one of the ISRC’s industry partners, TerraMax will provide financial support to the center, which will be leveraged with soybean checkoff funds from the Iowa Soybean Association to support soybean research at the university.

“We look forward to gaining TerraMax’s perspective in identifying ways to enhance soybean production that benefit Iowa’s soybean farmers by producing healthier plants and increasing crop yields,” said Joe McClure, chief officer, Research Center for Farming Innovation for the Iowa Soybean Association and chair of the Iowa Soybean Research Center’s Industry Advisory Council.

Other partners of the center include Ag Ingenuity Partners, AMVAC, BASF, Bayer, Beck’s, BioConnect Iowa, Corteva Agriscience, GDM, Indigo Ag, Inari, Meristem Crop Performance, Merschman Seeds, Nutrien, Peterson Genetics, Spraytec, Syngenta, Tidal Grow and Valent.
