VOC Port signs green ammonia MoU with AM Green
In India, Manifold Times reports that VO Chidambaranar Port Authority signed an MoU with AM Green Ammonia to collaborate on a green ammonia production plant at Tuticorin with planned capacity of 1 million tonnes per year.
The agreement covers more than production. VOC Port said the work includes green ammonia handling, storage and bunkering infrastructure, pilot bunkering operations, safety procedures and training programs. The port said the project is expected to support green fuel corridors linking VOC Port with major ports in Europe and Asia. VOC Port also signed an MoU with Bureau Veritas India covering Green Port certification, emissions accounting, ESG reporting, safety validation, green bunkering practices and a Centre of Excellence for green fuels and sustainability.
