Soybean harvest reaches 99% of the area; second corn crop harvest begins, Conab says
In Brazil, UOL reported that the 2025/26 soybean harvest is practically complete in Brazil, with 99% of the area harvested, according to the National Supply Company (Conab), in its weekly crop progress bulletin, which considers fieldwork carried out up to May 23.
This percentage represents an advance of 0.2 percentage points compared to the previous week. Compared to the same point in the previous harvest, there is a slight delay of 0.5 percentage points.
Regarding the 2025/26 summer corn harvest, as of last Saturday, 80.7% of the area had been harvested, an increase of 5.4 percentage points compared to the previous week. Compared to the same period of the previous season, when 86.9% had been harvested, the work is behind schedule, as is the average of the last five years, which is 83.2%.
