In Belgium, Belga news agency reports Wizz Air, which operates at Charleroi Airport (BSCA), has successfully conducted sustainable fuel tests (SAFs) on more than 50 flights, it announced on Thursday at a round table at Charleroi airport, in the presence of Airbus and Spanish oil tankers Moeve. Since January 1, 2025, suppliers must ensure that the fuel available to airlines operating from an EU airport contains at least 2% SAF. A share that will rise to 6% in 2030, 20% in 2035 and 70% in 2050.
