In Brazil, Waga Energy is deploying its patented technology in South America with the opening of a subsidiary in São Paulo, Brazil. In line with its international deployment strategy, Waga Energy, specialist in the upgrade of biogas from landfill sites in the form of renewable natural gas (RNG), created a subsidiary in Brazil on February 4, 2025. Its headquarters is based in São Paulo. Founded in 2015 in France in the Grenoble region, Waga Energy is present in six countries in Europe and North America. It develops, finances and operates its WAGABOX® units to produce RNG, a substitute for fossil-based natural gas, using biogas naturally generated by landfill sites.
