In India, SolarQuarter reported that Waaree Clean Energy Solutions Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, has received a Notification of Award from the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited. The award was granted on January 30, 2025. It is for setting up a production facility with a capacity of 90,000 metric tons per year for green hydrogen in India, according to the report. The project is expected to contribute to the development of a green hydrogen ecosystem in India, supporting decarbonization efforts across various industries, the report added.
