Vueling to offset Forment de Treball’s emissions with SAF

In Spain, Vueling and Foment del Treball have agreed to promote the use of SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) with the aim of moving towards the decarbonization of air transport. This agreement, pioneering in Spain, represents a key step in the decarbonization of business travel through the supply of SAF , an alternative to fossil fuel that is already available but needs to scale up its production. Specifically, Vueling will calculate the emissions of Foment del Treball employees and managers produced by their air travel and subsequently supply the equivalent amount of SAF to the airport network in Spain.
