In Nebraska, Vision RNG LLC has signed a 20-year renewable natural gas (RNG) agreement with L.P. Gill, Inc., a subsidiary of Waste Connections, Inc. The Jackson, Nebraska project will initially convert 1,200 cubic feet per minute of landfill gas into 310,000 MMBtu of RNG annually, with production expected to grow over the life of the contract. The RNG will be injected into a nearby pipeline and used across the U.S. for transportation fuel and other sustainable applications. The plant is expected to be operational in 2027, further expanding Vision RNG’s portfolio of renewable energy projects.
