Vietnam to roll out E10 in June 2026

November 18, 2025 |

In Vietnam, Vietnam News reports the government plans to implement 10% ethanol blending in gasoline by June 2026, half a year later than originally planned. The delay is meant to give suppliers and consumers more time to prepare for the roll out.  On August 1, the country’s two largest fuel retailers launched an E10 pilot in Hồ Chí Minh City, Hà Nội and Hải Phòng. Consumers have expressed concerns about the higher blending levels but authorities have pointed to the US to demonstrate that the fuel is unharmful to most vehicles.
