In the UK, Fuel Cells Works reported the inauguration of a green hydrogen hub located at the Vietnamese-German University (VGU) in Binh Duong, Vietnam.
The report noted that the hub is a public–private partnership between VGU, GIZ, AHK, and industry leaders. The facility aims to catalyze workforce development, tech demos, and cross-sector business coordination.
Thomas Aulig, Vice President of VGU, said: “Green Hydrogen is one of the most promising solutions for long-term energy storage for hard-to decarbonizing sectors such as industry and transport.”
“By fostering knowledge exchange, training, and collaboration between academia, industry, and government, the Green Hydrogen Hub is laying the foundation for a dynamic hydrogen ecosystem and a sustainable energy future in Vietnam,” he added.
