USGC and NCGA jointly host first corn sustainability session

In Illinois, the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) and the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) jointly held the 1st Corn Sustainability Strategy Session last month to discuss the U.S. corn industry’s plans to leverage its sustainable practices and respond to market requirements across domestic and global supply chains.

The conference, held in Chicago, attracted growers and executives from leading agricultural organizations, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and sustainability experts to align domestic and international efforts along the U.S. corn value chain to maximize the value of sustainability attributes associated with U.S. corn and its production practices.
